We take the daytime exterior and rebuild it at dusk: deep sky, warm light in the windows, exterior lighting on.
The result reads as "come inside" in a way a flat midday exterior never quite manages. Midday sun is the least flattering light a house gets — hard shadows under the eaves, a washed-out sky, windows that read as black rectangles. Dusk fixes all three at once.
It is the frame that stops a thumb. For most listings it is the single strongest image in the set, which is why it belongs first on the MLS rather than buried at number nineteen.

Not if it is done properly. The giveaways are over-saturated skies and window glow that does not match the interior. We build the light to match the house rather than dropping in a stock sunset.
